Best 24 hrs....OF MY LIFE!

I would like to let you all know that Aspen is slowly becoming AMAZING!! It would only make since for this to happen when we have two weeks left to go!

Let me explain what I like to call the best 24 hrs of my life....

12 pm

The scene that had been killing my voice ended!! We had a Opera scenes program that my friend chase came to see and we went first so that I could sit and enjoy the rest of the concert.. PS there is a Soprano here who is seriously close to one of my favorite voices EVER... and she is AMERICAN! soooo weird! I love the SOVIET sounds! Then, Planning for what I call the "Naked Party" I went to go see an ALL CELLO concert dress rehearsal! If you know me, you know I think I AM a Cello! I was in heaven. A friend of mine Danny was conducting, I Love him! I also ran into Eric who I DEEPLY love! I'm Strange. lol

2 pm

I ate a sandwich from one of my closest friends here Liz! She is leaving early, but as you know I dont miss people because I am optimistic about seeing people again! I had Don Giovanni rehearsal with the best Baritone combination EVER! Adam & Donovan are the sexiest duo ever. Its kinda weird. I sat around the entire rehearsal and did NOTHING, no clue why I was called! anywhoo....

5 pm

Nicole Y. and I plan our trip to Carbondale for a "dancin-in-the-streets" festival! first I went to B-game to convince Nicole that we would be safe, then we went to the Ranch where I am staying and BORROWED some blankets/pillows/foam and we hit the road! Two of my friends had to come down later on the bus because they had rehearsal, kind of a downer but it was a fun ride down anyway!

7 pm

We arrive and find My friends Justin, Gopi and Eric sitting in the middle of dancing hippies sipping on some herb tea thingy. mmmm so good! We sat and talked for a while then we picked some apples! We was HUNGRY, and drank Mango Komboucha hahahhahaha Then we started dancing, then bourbon happened. lol Then we found out that I was the only person in the group who didnt speak SPANISH at this amazing Mexican restaurant! It helps to speak spanish we got free DIP! yummmm. oh we met up with trip too! yes his name is really TRIP! Chilled then picked up Daniel and Lauren from c(sh)ity market!

11 pm

We headed up to the camp site to find wood to light a fire for the sauna. While the sauna was heating, we sit in a circle singing what was on our hearts, and chanting Om namah shivaya "I honor the divinity within you" it was amazing! I played the jimbay, I suck but it WAS rhythmic! lol at one point I swore I was BEASTING a Raga! lol Doubtful!

No sense of time!

The sauna was READY so.... we all got naked and hit the sauna! Gopi is a yoga instrutor, so she had us chanting and singing again, I kinda forgot that I was sweating to death! When we needed a break from the heat we went up the hill behind the sauna to look at the stars & moon. It was as if Eve had never eaten from the Tree of Life, so we couldnt see good and evil and there was no shame to cover! There was nothing sexual and our minds never even went there! Normally I would be scared to death because of BEARS & MOUNTAIN LIONS but it didnt matter!!

We jumped back into the sauna to warm up and got dressed so we could head to the camp site! There was a meadow in the middle of the woods running next to a blue tarp covering a mattress laying on stacked logs. This is where we slept. I put the foam on the ground next to the meadow and layered the blankets so we would stay warm! 4 slept on the bed and the other 4 slept on the ground! DUH I was near the meadow! Im kind of HORRIFIED of bears so I made everyone sleep SUPER close, as if that would keep the bears away! IT DID! lol There were two cats that protected us all night by MEOWING non stop! Dante' & BE-AH-TRee-Chay!! I never imagined sleeping outside would be soooo powerful! I woke up because Daniel had moved away from me and over to Lauren so that side of me was cold, but Eric was a trooper! Daniel was mad because I had him sleeping on a branch all night, on accident of course!!

To start the day it was between smores or yoga...... Yoga it is! We did yoga on blankets between the Aspen trees! I wanted to work on opening my heart. I've never been so sensitive to sounds! If you havent done yoga near flowing water, you MUST!! Then came the FOOOOD as we drove to look at the twin peaks!!! Amazing view but ...no smores! LEMON CAKES AND DANISHES! OH MY!! lol Also, my favorite AcaiApple cereal lol! Then we headed back to Aspen to get Lauren back for her costume fitting and I had to work parking.....BEST JOB EVER! I worked with Eric for the first time, and it added a new level of AMAZINGNESS to Parking! I went to church at 6 kind of tired, but I went anyway, just because!

Just when you think the 24 hrs are over....ITS NOT!

I ride home with my GOOD friend Chase and we sit in his car and talk about life, happiness and what we need verses what we want! I go back to my cabin and listen to some music, he came by to visit with this present wrapped in forest designed paper and im like oh shiz, CHRISTMAS! lol I opened it right away because it was MADD heavy, and it was my FIRST, VERY OWN BIBLE!!! Leather bound with silver pages (not really but the outside of the pages) lol

Needless to say, then I knew Aspen was what I needed this summer, which is why I sacrificed so much to get here!
